Residence AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) is designed from the ground up to operate fully offline and entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use Residence AI.

The short version: We do not collect, store, transmit, or access your data.

Residence AI does not collect any personal information. We do not:

Log conversations

Store analytics

Gather device information

Monitor performance

Collect crash reports

Create user profiles

We do not have access to anything you type, say, upload, or generate.

3. No Accounts or Cloud Services

Residence AI does not require accounts, logins, subscriptions, cloud access, or online authentication. All processing happens locally on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers.

4. Local Processing & Local Storage

All AI models, conversations, files, and generated content are processed and stored on your computer only. This includes:

Text conversations

Voice interactions

Documents

Code

Images

Data analysis

Preferences

Your information never leaves your device unless you manually export or share it.

5. Offline Operation

Residence AI works fully offline. Internet access is only required for downloading the installer, downloading AI models, or receiving optional updates. Once installed, Residence AI does not communicate with any external systems.

6. Optional Updates

Residence AI may offer software updates. When enabled, the update system may check for new versions using a simple request to our update server.

We do not collect:

IP addresses

Usage data

System information

Update history

You may disable updates at any time.

7. Generated Content

Residence AI may generate text, code, images, or other outputs. All generated content remains on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share it. We do not receive or store generated content.

8. Third-Party Components

Residence AI uses local open-source AI models and libraries. These components run entirely on your device and do not transmit data externally.

We do not use:

Google Analytics

Tracking pixels

Advertising networks

Cloud APIs

Remote inference servers

No third party receives your data.

9. Children’s Privacy

Residence AI does not collect data from anyone, including children. However, the Software is intended for users 18 years or older.

10. Security

Because Residence AI operates offline and stores all data locally, your privacy depends on the security of your device. We recommend:

Using strong passwords

Keeping your operating system updated

Protecting your device from unauthorized access

Residence AI does not transmit or expose your data.

11. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal information:
